Game one of the NBA finals was last night and the Spurs won. Three things really stood out to me. Tim Duncan can still dominant this series. LeBron cramped up and had to come out, i think that has to hurt the jordan comparison. Lastly Danny Green could shoot the Spurs to a win in this series. Last night he might have but it was not really necessary with LeBron off the court.

The NBA finals are scheduled to take place on Thursday in San Antonio. The Spurs got the rematch with the Heat that they wanted. Ever since game six of the 2013 NBA finals the spurs wanted a second chance at the Heat. The Spurs lost game six and game seven and the championship. The championship trophy was being brought to the court as time was running out, but then the Miami Heat made a furious comeback and won game 6 and then the series. The Spurs feel like they beat themselves. This years series seems to be the same but it really is not. Everyone is a year older. That has to favor the young guns like Leonard, Green, Chalmers, Cole, and Splitter. As the older players are looking to win one more ring the younger players are still on there incline and have improved since last year. Who do you think will win this years finals. The Spurs or the Heat? Please your thoughts in the comments.

Game Five of the eastern conference finals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers was last night. It was a very close game due to poor free throw shooting for the Indiana Pacers. The Miami Heat’s problem is they could not keep there best player on the court because he was in foul trouble. LeBron picked up his fifth personal foul in the third quarter and had to go to the bench until the fourth quarter. If LeBron had played more would it have changed the result? If the Pacers had lost this game they would have been eliminated from the playoffs and it would have been due to poor free throw shooting. The Pacers face game 6 on the road in Miami.
Game 6 is on Friday night. Please comment your predictions.
